Sonography / Ultrasound (USG)

Home / Services / Sonography / Ultrasound (USG)

Safe, radiation-free, real-time imaging — performed personally by senior radiologists.

Duration: 15–30 minutes Report: Same day Shastri Chowk, Raipur

About This Service

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves — not radiation — to create real-time images of organs and tissues. It is completely safe, painless, and suitable for everyone including pregnant women and children.

At Ruprela, every sonography examination is performed personally by an experienced radiologist, not delegated to technicians. This means findings are interpreted live, additional views are taken on the spot when needed, and you receive a genuinely thorough examination.

From routine whole-abdomen scans to specialised obstetric studies such as NT scans and growth scans, we cover the complete spectrum of ultrasound imaging.

What We Offer

  • USG Whole Abdomen — ₹999
  • USG Lower Abdomen / Pelvis — ₹999

  • Pregnancy scans: usually no fasting; early pregnancy scans need a full bladder.
  • Carry your doctor's note and previous scan reports for comparison.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ultrasound safe during pregnancy?
Yes, completely. Ultrasound uses sound waves, not radiation, and decades of use have shown no harm to mother or baby.
Why do I need a full bladder?
A full bladder pushes bowel gas away and acts as a window for sound waves, giving a much clearer view of pelvic organs.
Do you do sex determination?
No. Prenatal sex determination is strictly prohibited under the PC-PNDT Act, and we comply fully with the law.
