A computerised ECG records the heart's electrical rhythm to detect arrhythmias, old or ongoing heart attacks, and strain patterns. 2D Echocardiography uses ultrasound to visualise the heart's chambers, valves and pumping function — the essential test for breathlessness, murmurs and heart failure evaluation.

We also perform Fetal Echo — a specialised scan of the unborn baby's heart in pregnancy. Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) completes the cardio-respiratory picture.

How to Prepare

• ECG & Echo: no fasting needed; avoid heavy exercise just before the test.
• Wear a two-piece outfit — chest access is required for lead placement.
• PFT: avoid heavy meals 2 hours before; avoid inhalers/bronchodilators as advised by your doctor.
• Carry your previous ECG/Echo reports and current medication list.
