CT Scan (Plain & Contrast)

Home / Services / CT Scan (Plain & Contrast)

Multi-slice CT for rapid, high-resolution imaging of brain, chest, abdomen and more.

Duration: 10–20 minutes Report: Same day Shastri Chowk, Raipur

About This Service

Computed Tomography (CT) combines X-rays with computer processing to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body — like viewing the body in thin slices. It is the investigation of choice for head injury, stroke, chest disease, abdominal pain, kidney stones and trauma.

Our multi-slice CT scanner captures images in seconds, which means shorter breath-holds, less motion blur and greater comfort — especially important for elderly patients and children. Both plain and contrast-enhanced studies are performed under the supervision of experienced radiologists.

Every scan is reported in detail, with critical findings communicated to your referring doctor immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between plain and contrast CT?
A contrast CT uses an injected iodine-based dye that highlights blood vessels and organs, revealing details a plain scan cannot. Your doctor decides which is needed.
Is the contrast injection safe?
For most people, yes. We screen kidney function and allergy history before administering contrast, and our team is trained to manage any reaction.
How long does a CT scan take?
The scan itself takes only seconds to a few minutes. Including preparation and positioning, expect 10–20 minutes at the centre.
